Preferred Seating for Mardi Gras Parade for APH's?

Hi, all!
We're heading out to USO next Friday and Saturday for the last Mardi Gras weekend.
I know that for the Macy's parade, there is a preferred seating area for annual passholders.
Is there such an area for the Mardi Gras parade?
If not, I guess we'll just head for the start of the parade, between Jaws and Fear Factor.
I've read in several posts that this is a good, non-crowded area to view the parade (and get lots of beads for the kiddos!) at.

Actually there is a APH seating area located down from monsters cafe and just oposite Mel's Drive inn. It's ok but we sat on the opposite side by the lagoon and received tons of beads. We were there April 1st and had a great time.

We'll be sure to check out the seating area, but may try somewhere closer to the beginning of the parade, as you suggest.
Been to USO lots of times, but never made the trip during Mardi Gras.
We decided to brave the crowds (especially after getting a $209 Florida Resident Rate at Portofino Bay!) despite it being so close to Spring Break.
Gotta love the unlimited Express for hotel guests!
Not sure if we'll try to see KC and the Sunshine Band ... we'll have to see how bad the mob is, since it's the last concert of Mardi Gras.
Only 9 more days to go!
