Preferred Seating at the parade

Our DLR package comes with vouchers for preferred seating at a parade. They say that we go to the main street train station for viewing. Is it worth it, or should we just get our own seats? In the past, we've watched from either main street or by IASW.

Any input?

My vouchers from the Visa package say the parade viewing is near IASW. I don't know anything about either of our locations or how it works (and is it even worth it?) - I'm hoping someone will know!
