We have a room only reservation at AS Sports in Mid-May. I requested a preferred room, and then called back later to request a room in the Touchdown building facing the courtyard, Since my DS4 loved the pictures of the field I thought it would be neat for him to see it every time we left our room. The reservations CM who took this request confirmed that we had a preferred room reservation and added this tip without ever telling me that the preferred rooms are in Surfs Up, not Touchdown (which I have since discuvered on my own). My question is, when faxing my room request in before I leave can I request the Touchdown bld near the Food Court area as a first choice and then Surf's Up as a 2nd, keeping the preferred reservations or do I have to change the reservation to a standard room to get Touchdown and the risk being at the very end of the resort should I not get it? I don't min paying the $10 extra dollars per night to be sure I get a room close to the food court and buses.:Pinkbounc :earsgirl:  :sunny:

I never fax my room request in, but the last time I stayed at the Movies (October) I had a preferred room reserved. When I checked in I asked for a king bed and there were none in the preferred rooms. I told them I would prefer Mighty Ducks and there was a king bed available. The CM changed my reservation from preferred to standard and adjusted the amount I owed. She put alot of effort into this change especially since I had a discounted room. She pulled out the calculator and made all of the changes to charge me the new discounted correct amount. And since I had a continuing reservation, she even made the change on my next reservation. Not that you would be able to get a CM so efficient, but wanted you to know that adjustments can be made during checkin. BTW, whenever we stay at Sports, we ALWAYS request touchdown too!! Our favorite section.

Thanks. I guess I can always ask for Touchdown and should we get it, try to get the lower rate. If not, Surfs Up is closer too, although I think my son will be disappointed.:smooth:
