I just called today to pay the balance on my 10/30 - 11/6 trip. It's the 5 + 2 deal at the Pop Century. CM on call confirmed my itinerary, and I just about dropped the phone when she said standard room.
I'm sure I requested a preferred room when I made the reservation, but I have nothing to show/prove that I did.
She tried to see if any were still available, but there where none. She tried to be helpful but basically said there was nothing she could do, and that I try to all back every so often to see if there is a cancellation.
I have no probelm paying for the preferred room, but does anyone have any other ideas?
Oh, and to make matters worse, my parents who are travelling with us have a preferred room. We both have room requests to have connecting rooms, but there's no way thats goinig to happen now.
I know its not the end of the world, but it shure was a let down.
