We are a Preferred Passholder family and we are bringing our niece on our next trip, the first week of July.

We will stay onsite and be in the park for 4 days.
I originally planned to buy her the 2 Park 2 Day +3 days free promo ticket, but after thinking about it, I thought I would ask for some advise.

I did not see anything in the terms about this ticket not being eligible for my 15% discount when ticket is purchased at the gate...except where it reads "Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice. " Does anyone know if this ticket is ineligible?

Then, I was wondering if she would like to return with us, maybe we should get an AP. I don't think we get any discounts for buying APs, is that correct?

So, if this ticket is available for my 15% discount, it will be best to buy the ticket, then upgrade to the AP, which should be only the difference between the regular price of the ticket.

Since we don't know how well she will like it, we probably should just buy the ticket and decide (before our trip ends) if she is interested enough to upgrade to the AP.

Advise?
