Hello Everybody,

On the My Coke Rewards website they have a thing to redeem and you can save $40 on a preferred pass to US so I got that except when I click the link it only sends me to the pass site and the only thing I see that goes along with coke is the save $40 for Florida residents however when I redeemed the thing from the My Coke Rewards site it didn't say anything about needing to be a Florida resident.

Has anybody tried this and figured it out? I want to get the pass but would prefer to save $40 if it is possible. But since I don't know where to go to get this since I don't live in Florida I don't know what to do. Should I call Universal and ask them? I'm not sure if they would be able to help or not.

Thanks

Unfortunately the Coke promotion is for FL and GA residents only. I'm surprised Coke Rewards has that as an option on the website.

Ah that is what I figured :(

Thanks

Oh and does anybody know if you can upgrade your regular park ticket into the preferred pass? If so how much does that cost?

We live in TN and aren't eligible for the Coke Rewards offer either, but AAA South (FL, GA and TN) have Preferred Passes for $40 off for 12 months. The same deal, just offered through the AAA South offices.

If you're a AAA member you *may* be able to visit a AAA South office and get this deal as well.

AAA is actually a slightly better deal at $154.95 + tax.
Only a $5.04 + tax difference, but every bit helps these days!

That is a good deal I wish I was a member of AAA I have to see if my Aunt is or not.

I'm still wondering about upgrading your ticket at the park. I know other places do that I did that last year with my Sea World ticket and wanted to know if I can do the same with my Universal ticket.

Yes...you can upgrade to an AP and just pay the difference.

Wow thanks for the info can u pm me the code?

From my experience it's not a code...you have to be registered with www.mycokerewards.com. On of their "rewards" is this $40 off thing that fails to tell you it's restricted to FL and GA!

This is correct nowhere did it tell me I needed to be a Florida or Georgia resident to get the pass. Also when I did get the link they sent me in my email it was basically just the page where you can buy the passes. So it really isn't much help. However if you are a FL or GA resident you can get the pass you just need to tell them who is sponsoring Universal this season and your Zip code and as for the sponsor it shouldn't be difficult think who is offering the discount ;).

if the tickets are listed as complimentary, they are not eligible for an upgrade.
