Is preferred parking significantly better at any of the 4 parks?

Does preferred parking make much of a difference in rope drop?

Also, if we park hop, is preferred parking particularly better for afternoon arrivals?

Preferred parking is definitely closer to the park entrances than the rest (it's usually right behind the handicapped parking), especially if you arrive later in the morning or in early afternoon. We don't rope drop, so I can't answer about that. I can say that last week, when we arrived very late afternoons e.g. 5 PM to AK with a 7 PM close, we were allowed to park in the preferred parking section, in spaces that had already been vacated. We really appreciated it!

Neve paid for but, I have a handicap placard and there are times the HP parking is full and wound up in the Preferred area.
