Preferred Parking at HS?

Hi all!
We plan to drive our car to HS and be there for rope drop this week.

If the park opens at 10a, are they still letting cars line up around 845?

And if you’re early, does preferred parking make much of a difference in that situation?

Well it slows down the line for the rest of the people in your lane...haha

I am guessing with “ capacity” and being early and hopefully you will be up front as they guide your car in to your spot...
It won’t be too bad. They must not plan to bring the trams back into service for holidays .
The worst part would be later in hot sun or at close , feeling walked out , but still having to walk to your car especially with children.

the parking lot (for everyone including uber/lyft/taxi) has been opening an hour prior to park opening, regardless what that time might be
The preferred parking will put you closer to the main entrance, especially if you are one of the first cars to park in regular as they make you go all the way down your lane. So it'll save you anywhere from a couple of minutes to maybe 5 minutes walk time

IMO Not worth the $$ or the 2 minutes of being closer.
