Would someone be able to tell me just how far/long the walk is from the Love Bug section to the main pool and the bus stop at ASMo?

I am trying to decide if booking a Preferred room is worth the extra money or if I should save it for souveniers etc.

I appreciate your help!!! :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

I personally would save yourself the money. I booked Preferred for our trip last December. We were located in Fantasia, on the back side, not far from the Love Bug section. The walk is not that bad, the scenery makes it enjoyable. This end of the resort is also quieter. If we stay at ASMo again, we will request the Love Bug section.

Our first stay at ASmovies we had a standard room and were very close to the food court and bus but had a parking lot view in the Toy Story building. We are staying here again in September and when we booked all they had were preferred rooms so don't know where we will end up. I did not mind the standard view room by the parking lot. There was a bit of grass and trees between the two and was a short walk to everything..

You may well end up in the same area, Toy Story is now preferred, as is 101 Dalmatians and Fantasia.

We stayed in the back of the Buzz building one year too, and we loved it!!!

Love Bug is the length of the pool, plus one set of buildings away from the main building/bus stops. It's not as far as the farthest buildings at the moderates, but I still ask for preferred buildings because we do enough walking at the parks!

We booked standard for our upcoming trip. I don´t have any comparison though, just used the same reasoning as you´re doing, that I´d rather spend the money on something else (we´re paying for 2 rooms per night, so the difference in a week is considerable).

We've stayed in all the ASMo buildings at least once, except Mighty Ducks. We've been in Love Bug twice. It's not a long walk from the foodcourt or buses and it's even closer to the Fantasia pool. But if you have small children who might fall asleep on the bus back from the parks and need/want to be carried, I would recommend the preferred buildings. If you don't have kids or your children are older, the standard rooms are fine.
