What is the best loop for tenting. We will have a golf cart the entire time!

what is also the best time of year?

I would like to go the beginning of Dec because I love all the Christmas decos but I would also like to try around Halloween!

thanks

We have a camper so I can't answer about the tent except to say 1500 is a partial and that is all you need or all I would want to pay for if camping in a tent. It is also in a good location and very central in the campground.

We have camped in Oct., the first week(hot and crowded) and then the end of Nov. the week before and during Thanksgiving(closer to Thanksgiving, really crowded). Oct. is my favorite time at Disney. The Christmas deco. were pretty at Thanksgiving but the Halloween deco. were AWESOME! The Halloween party is so much fun too and a must if going during the Fall. If I had a choice I would choose the last week in Oct.(cooler and less crowded) and second choice would be the first week in Dec.(alot cooler and not at all crowded) We just got back and even though the Flower & Garden Festival is beautiful, it was too hot and humid for me!!!

Whatever you choose, you will have a wonderful time!:wizard:

Try this, we are arriving Oct 30 for Halloween and staying till Nov 10., the first Mvcp so we get a taste of both. We have done Christmas before but not Halloween so this year its both.

Loops 1500 and 2000 are good for tent campers.

Anytime in the spring (mid-Feb through May) is a good time weather wise as is Oct-Dec.

You can stay in any loop but the partials (15 and 20) provide water/electric/cable which should be all a tenter needs. If you have a golf cart it won't matter; 1500 is closer to the Meadow Trading Post (center of FW) but it has fewer sites and closer to the main road (more bus noise). 2000 is a little further away but more sites, two comfort stations for it (1500 shares one with 1600) and more of the sites are off the main road (therefore no bus noise).

You can't go wrong with either.

Halloween definatly. Something we do every year. And unless you're staying in the 300 loop.. it's not worth the price for tent camping. And more things happen at the meadows for halloween. So I'd go with the partial of 1500 or even full hook-up to be close to the middle. We stayed at the loop south of the meadow's trading post on the orange route... can't remember and I enjoyed it very much last halloween.

But good luck finding a site... i've looked and nothing comes up.

So I guess you're only left with the first couple weeks in december. I'd never do thanksgiving. that's like pure torture.
