Predictions?? Will MK close Dec. 19 - Sunday before Christmas??

We are planning to do EE at MK on the Sunday before Christmas. But then we have a PS at Chef Mickey at 10:50. We are hoping to go back into MK until the parade.

Any predictions - will it be closed this day?

Do I need to figure out another day to see the parade?

We do plan to take an afternoon break and go back to MK at night for Spectro and Wishes.

I think you will be fine that day - crowds will be starting to build but it should still be far from over crowded. We have been those dates several times and had no problems.

If you are doing EE that means you are a Disney Resort guest. Aren't all guests allowed into the parks and it is only off property people that are turned away when the park reaches capacity?

from these boards, others have said that on-site guests are only guaranteed A park.........but not necessarily the park of choice.

However, op, I think we'll be fine on the 19th.............I'll be there too! The UOG lists it as a 2!

I think you should be fine.... I've been there at that time and the crowd didn't start building until the morning of the 23rd.

You should be able to get in the parks. Some crowds but the real CROWDS come a little later (at least when I was there). HAVE FUN!!! And be sure to say hello to Mickey for all of us from the DIS that will still be at home just dreaming of being there!

I'm just a little worried that crowds are going to be higher than normal the week before Christmas because it seems like a lot of schools are giving two weeks for break. And like us - there may be many that are going the first week to beat the crowds.

Also how many locals will go that day being the weekend before Christmas.

I'll be there that day, too! I was planning on going to other parks on that Saturday and Sunday til 8pm or so and then hopping over to the MK til it closes, so hopefully it won't close up early due to crowds. -Steph
