Hi Guys! This is my first trip, or pre trip report ever so bear with me. Also, I have to say, that if anyone here is military, or spouse there of, definitly take advantage of the salute to the military special that disney and other orlando attractions are doing. Ok, here goes.
The Cast:
Me (Kristin) 30, mom of two, and proud navy wife and Disney-Holic
Auntie (Carol) 32, mom of three, proud navy wife and the Disney-Holics Annonymous group leader. LOL
Emily Almost 3 DD
Benjamin 16mos. DS
Heres the scoop on our trip. This trip started out being just a quick three day "run" down to florida to see Carols dad before they transferred to the mid west, and was going to be a girls only trip with out the kids. Well, once we found out that the military was recieving all of the extra kudos for a job well done, we decided to take advantage of them. So, what would have been a three day run has now turned into a week long stay. Yipppeeeeee! The only draw back is that our hubbys will be out to sea for a few days during the week that we will be gone, so we need to bring my two, Emily and Ben. Carols kids will be at there grandparents for a few weeks over that week too, so we won't be bringing her kids. So, in short, we will be staying at the Coronado Springs Resort for three days, maybe an extra day or two, depending on availability. With the military special we got a standard room for roughly 95$ a night(tax incl.) Thats cheaper than the SOG overflow hotels. We are also getting our 5day hopper tickets for $99.00. I made priority seating for character breakfast at Ohanas (our first time there). I am still thinkign about other seatings. We also are going to try and go to Sea World with our free admission for military and or maybe Busch Gardens also with free admission. We are also entertaining the idea of IOA but the discount isnt that great and our time will be limited. We keep thinking of all these things to do, but keep forgetting we will only be there for a week. Oh well, I guess we will have to stay longer. Darn the bad luck!!! The only draw back is that we are driving down with the kids. It will be a long drive. Oh well, at least our destination will be worth it. Ok, sorry I have rambled on and on and I haven't even been on my trip yet. I can't wait to post our trip report.!!!!
