Pre-Trip Report

December 2-Sunday--December 8th Saturday

My name is Britt. I am 31 and a stay-at-home mom. I decided to try doing this pre-trippie thing, because all I can do is talk about Disney and everyone just looks at me like I'm crazy. So this is my outlet, I must talk to someone about MICKEY! I can't believe we could only go a few days, but hey, you must take what you can get. I don't want to miss a thing(which is impossible), but want to make the trip as magical as possible, so I must keep planning!!!!
Here is the crew:]

DH(35)*** Sammy. He is Asst. Pastor of our church. He and I are also over our youth at church, so we spend every weekend with a minimum of 40 kids. He also is song leader of our church. Check out our website if you have time. www.truthmissionary.com He supports my Disney obsession because I support his obsession of fishing and hunting---

DD(5) Reilly- She just started school this September. Her first and only trip to Disney was two years ago, when she was a month short of being three years old. She loves everything Disney. Princess, pirate, villain, non-villain, you name it. She wants to meet the ugly stepsisters She is very outgoing and very high paced.

DS (1)Sam--My little man will be a year and a half on the trip. He is not sure about things and gets fussy when he's tired. But very sweet and easily pleased. (Most of the time)!

DMOM Nana- Everybody loves Nana and she is up for doing anything. Listens to all my Disney comments and helping me with my new boutique obsession!

DDAD Papa- Can only take so much excitement in a day, but loves being with the kids, especially in Disney! (Note the Mickey on a motorcycle)

ADRs, Boutique clothing and custom autograph book planning on the way!!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad someone is reading. They are a lot of great Pre-trippies out there, I can't compete with. But must keep my sanity and continue tring to organize the trip. With two little ones, there will be no time to plan if I wait!

I have been going over some other pre trip reports to see how everyone's trip planning is going. It makes me want to do even more and more and more!
I am learning to sew, I just sewed my first skirt with DMOM's help. It is basic, but I loved it and can't wait to do more. There are some beautiful customs out there, but very pricey. I'll post pictures when I get them up.
I also want to scrapbook autograph books for the kids. I want to be able to put pictures on each page of the characters they meet and get autographs from when we get there.
I am also working on Tinkerbelle gifts right now for the kids. I have Christmas stuffed Mickey and Minnie. Personalized bags, light up key chains, glow sticks, bubbles, and still looking for more things to add to their bags.

Sunday ---12/2:
Flight @ 12 pm
Staying at Pop Century for the first time! Yay! We will rest for a while after checking, then off to MGM for Hollywood and Vine. Our ressies are at 4:50 and Fantasmic starts at 7:00!
Monday---12/3:I am hoping to get earlier ressies for CP, but for now I have them at 9:20. Want ressies as close to 8:00 am as possible so we can get to rope drop and wake up tink!
Open day at MK---and back to Pop for snack and rest. Dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and the stepsisters!!!
Tuesday---12/4
Late breakfast at Pop and back to MK for Bibbiti Bobbidi Boutique for DD. Then late lunch in CRT. Rest and dinner at Pop before Mickey's Very Merry Christmas!!!
Wednesday---12/4
Spend the day in Epcot. We want to make our own robots. Make our way through the lands to stamp our passports and see some of the other Santa's. (And try some takeout of the famous pretzel bread and cheese soup from Le Cellier). Rest for a while then dinner @ Tony's.
Thurday--12/5
Breakfast at Pop
Off to Grand Floridian for special brunch for DD at My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party. After this a while at AK and up for anything after that! Possible do DTD that night and Fulton's for dinner.
Friday---12/6
Breakfast at O'hana with Lilo and Stitch. I can't wait!! I love them! Open day and open lunch. Dinner at Sci -Fi!!!
Saturday---12/7
Flight home-Boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called yesterday and got earlier ressies for CP. ** 8:10 YAY! They said that they would have to split up our party, but we could request being near when we get there. I don't think it will be a problem. Now I hope I can make it to Wake Up Tink!! I feel like it is all starting to come together now!!!Here are some fabrics that I bought yesterday. I will post them when they are completed.

I think I'm going to make twirl skirts and minnie overalls with the dot fabric. I also have a Pooh dress that is almost finished.

Your itinerary looks great! We really debated doing Hollywood & Vine because I have heard the characters are so great but in the end I didn't want to use a credit on food we wouldn't like as much. DH has strong food opionions, especially when he is spending money for it. Since he's earning most of the funds... gotta keep him happy. We got the early AM ADR for CP too. I am so excited to walk down an empty Main Street!

I love the materials! I so wish I had a little girl to sew for! I haunt the boutique thread all the time just to drool! I am going to do tie-dye Mickey tees as well as Mickey Head shirts for the fam. It was the most I could convince DH of!

I was going to do the character breakfast at play and dine, but DD said she didn't like the Little Einsteins or Jo Jo anymore. I guess she's already getting "too big" for that. So I cancelled the breakfast. The one on the itinerary is actually part of the Fantasmic package. I'll be a first for me, I think I found out about it on here. I hope it'll be worth it.

I think the tie-dyes are cute! I considered doing those, but uncertain on how to do it. My husband does say customs are not for DS, so I have to be very careful to keep DH happy. I haven't decided what to do for him yet. Tie-dye shirt may have to be an option for me as well!

Hi I'm on board! I will there around the same time. We actually fly in on Dec 1 (staying at POP) and then on the 2nd are going on the cruise (for 4 days) I will be back at the parks on the 6th and we are staying until the 10th or 11th. Can't wait to hear more.

LOL. Thanks. I'm glad you like the picture. I guess it's bad manners to have Charlie Brown on here, but everybody says that's who he looks like. That picture has just stuck! I'll have to get some Disney pictures of him soon! At least for the big TR!!

We are leaving in 4 days and will be staying at POP for the second time- we love that resort! Even more than some of the moderates. I think you will enjoy it there. We will also be doing the Fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine - will have to let you know how it is.

I love all the great girly things you have planned for Reilly. She is at the perfect age for all of that in my opinion. My daughter Samantha is 7 and though she still likes the princesses and such the best memories we have of that was when she was 5. She loved to dress up and thought everything was so magical! I can't wait to hear about the Tea Party - from what I've read that sounds like an awesome event.

I'm glad you have good memories of your DD at age 5. I was begining to think I may have too many princess things planned. I decided I better do the princess tea this year, because I didn't last time. I hope it will be worth the money. I'm glad you've heard good things about it.

That's so sad that she's too grown up for Playhouse Disney already. It makes me sad to think about that happening so soon. You'll have to let me know what you think of doing a Fantasmic package. We currently don't have ADRs for it, but it was a strong possibility. I'd love to hear opinions!!
