Pre-Trip Report for Three Princesses and a June Trip to the World, 6/24 We're Back!!

Final bit of news that was posted above is the addition of one more member to our traveling party. Fortunately I won't need to adjust any ADR's for her or make any flight ressies. I would like to introduce Felicia Von Croc. Here is a link to the thread all about the croc exchange Croc Exchange Thread So that is sooo exciting! I laugh at all of the pics.

Have you seen the Mickey Head Coundown trees??? Some one on the Lime Green board came up with the idea.
When you go to swipe the LIME GREEN MICKEY Paintchip heads from Home Depot....and they dont have any You take OTHER colors....then write the numbers on them , and stick them (with removanble glue stuff) on a door!

One person did theirs in all RED & Green when they were going Christmas time. Some one used only Pastel colors when going on Easter...yadda yadda...You get the Idea!

For some reason it only cost a little over $100 for 5 of us for the week to stay at POR through AAA then at ASSports through Disney. Really look into it DU. And if you get free dining by going at the end of August then you are really set! I think Universal has a lot of cool rides but I am concerned about getting on them all. I have Disney figured out but not them. I'll let you know how it goes.
I have not seen the MC trees but that is a great idea. We cut all of ours out by hand! But...I figure we can reuse it again. I love the colors idea! Thanks for posting DU...I am keeping up with your TR too. I think I have subscribed to too many keep up with. I should just quit my job.....

I suggest lunch at Universal Studios. There's a really cool 50's diner place that has great food right before you head over to Islands. Not much to ride at Seuss Landing (there's like 3 rides there), but the decor and shops are fun. You will get soaked on Rip Saw Falls in Toon Lagoon. Don't forget to check out Lost Continent too. The lines will probably be long since tha park is much more than Universal Studios and they don't have the lovely free fast pass that Disney has. They do have a thing that's called an Express Pass that can be purchased and used at both parks, but I suggest buying it when you buy your tickets because they have limited quantities and by noon they're usually sold out.

Thanks so much for the compliments! Hey neat a 50's diner place. Probably not as cool as the one at MGM but we shall check it out! Our tickets were free and we already have them (via cc) and my hubby says we will see everything in the first hour we are there. I really dont care actually. I am pretty laid back about US. It doesnt hold my heart like Disney does.

OMGOODNESS....LOVE THE 4 sets of pink crocs! My Tink has the sames ones, but I jsut couldn't DO pink, so I did red and matched my DS.

Everyones haircuts are great! Your haircut is lovely...report back on it's ease. It always takes a few days to get used to new do's...

The girls are goign to look so lovely dressed up like little princess'. I am so glad you found one to fit yoru oldest daughter! Can't wait to see the pictures!

And LOVE the non-black luggage. We too got new luggage for our trip and it is RED...LOVE IT!

Awww thanks PJV! I love pink and purple so I got mine to match theirs. I already have blue and black and orange in the knock-off variety so pink it was. I can't wait to see their faces when they get the package (with the dresses inside) at POR addressed to them!

We arent doing ME on the way down in terms of luggage so I wanted a color that would stand out! We are still riding the bus though.

So far the hair was easy this morning. It only took about 10 min total and lasted all day. So that is definately an improvement.

I'm checking to see if maybe tnmomof4 would like to exchange with me before DisneyDude. We may be meeting up and she is staying at ASMu like DD.

Instead of Saturday the 24th...I think Saturday the 23rd would be better in Epcot!

Oh that would work out even better! Thats great you'll be meeting so many disers!! Oh , yaaaa, I did mean that Sat the 23rd. Mommy mush brains....that should be me!!

Arggg no crocs will misbehave with my DH around. He will make shoes out of em.... if need be. These girls run me ragged. I put a pedometer on myself today to see what it would read by the end of the day....guess what? I walked 2.44 miles today just keeping up with them and doing my normal chores.

We also skipped the ME delivery service, since they lost our luggage the last time ON THE WAY TO THE AIRPORT. That sucked!

I put a pedometer on myself today to see what it would read by the end of the day....guess what? I walked 2.44 miles today just keeping up with them and doing my normal chores.

Just think of it as great practise for Disney

Cathy - love your new 'do! It looks like it will be very refreshing at the end of June. I took the "shears" to my boys heads and gave them all buzz cuts. I love that look on boys so I'll just touch them up right before we go to Disney. They will be probably be the coolest of all of us!

Tnmomof4 wants to do the Croc exchange with me so I'm setting it up with her. I asked Crazy Kanga to bring her Croc to the AK the same day that we'll be meeting up so we can get some pics of the 2 together! This sounds like a lot of fun.

Actually thats what I am trying to do...see how much more training I have to do to get up to 3 to 5 miles a day. Lets see, its a little after 4:30 pm and I have logged 2.4 miles already. Almost there!

Finally I have caught up on the 26 pages that are quite interesting. I don't believe in cheating and going to the most current page and starting from there. However since reading the whole 26 pages I have now forgotten what I was ever going to reply to.

My family of 5 went to POP May 06 and we, I mean "I" am planning the next trip for May 08. I have 3 DD's age 8,6 &3. DH goes to humor me. I will be celebrating my 35th birthday at that time. I told my DH "what a great place to celebrate your birthday!" He questioned me...my reply "yes it is the BEST place to celebrate a birthday." How magical that will be. I can't wait!

I'm a family of five and debating between POR, AS Movies (2 rooms), & AS Music Suites. I'm anxious to hear the perks of POR. I was afraid it would be to "grown up" for my little ones. But I have stayed at Movies before and remember the buses that are shared with the other 2 AS resorts. That is another benefit of POR & POP. But what fun the children had at movies. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You all feel like my long lost disney sisters. I'm so glad that there are other people out there that are just as "obsessed" (as my DH calls it) as I am. I am not a freak!

Love the girls dresses for Ohana's. Too cute!
