Pre-Trip Report Gidget is Going to Disneyland!

So last night I wrote a huuuuuuuuge pre-trip post and lost it! Grrrrr!!! I gave up and decided to do it tonight. Anywho! I have definitely decided against Ridemax. My reasoning is that we have always done well in past trips, with utilizing fastpasses, getting to the parks early, etc., so I will leave well enough alone.
So back to the pre-trip plan!!!
Tuesday after swimming, napping, and dinner (which will be repeated daily), my plan is to head back to Disneyland, perhaps by the monorail and this evening we will catch either Fantasmic (which my kids have never seen before .I know bad mom!!!) or the Fireworks or both!!! I dont have a set plan for this evening, other than those two must sees, so we will just go with the flow (this will be the theme I think for this trip).
This trip I definitely want to do some of the shows/activities that we have never done before, besides Fantasmic, we will catch the Billy Hill and the Hillbillies Show, DS wants to try again for Jedi Training (his DSs both have been chosen twice, but not DS was a bit upset, but willing to try again!), Animation Academy and Innovations. Also they dont remember the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk through tour (they were 5, 4 and 2 when we went and it was still open). Also we will use our tickets for Toon Town Morning Madness!!!
Wednesday we will get to Disneyland at opening and this morning the plan will be to start in Frontierland /NOS, Indiana Jones, BTRR, Jungle Cruise, Tarzan Tree House, POTC, Haunted Mansion, Splash (not necessarily in that order). My family also likes to browse in all the gift shops, so that will be mixed in as well!! We then will hop over to DCA at opening and head for Toy Story Mania, ride/fastpass Soarin and GR. I also want to take advantage of the free character pic that Disney Visa offers. In all the times weve been to Disneyland since being cardmembers, we have not taken advantage of that!! I know the kids will be dying to do TOT (Im a scaredy cat) and of course Monsters and then perhaps Screamin and whatever catches our eye!!!
Lunch and break will follow.
The evening will be a toss up, maybe into DL for a while and then back to DCA for ELP. I did make ressies for the Celebration Roundup, but then I read about the changes and have decided to cancel. I was wavering before because it is outdoors and it will be August, so the changes really made up my mine once and for all!!! I do love Plaza Inn so maybe we will have dinner there (if not we will have lunch there another day!!!!!)
Thursday should be another early entry day so we will be there bright eyed and bushy tailed!!! I will let the kids plan this day and take turns picking what rides we will be going on. My only must do this day would be the Aladdin Spectacular show!!! Im sure we will be hopping back and forth!! Fireworks and Fantasmic !!!
Friday is my oldest DDs 14th bday!!!! Our plans are to get her Fun Card, lunch at Blue Bayou at 11:30am and she will be in charge of our day.
Saturday will be our departure day, after a fabulous breakfast at Goofys Kitchen.
We will be sadly checking out, but my girls are excited to be going to the American Girl store before heading home.
This weekend I will be working on my lists of everything I need to do and pack before we leave which is coming super fast!!!! I'm sooo excited!!!!

My vacation package arrived via UPS today!!!
We are on the downhill slope to heading to the Happiest Place on Earth!!!!!
That's when the trip gets real for me.
Well tomorrow!!! But still - we are packing - doing some last minute shopping and laundry. Made a list and I am checkin' it twice, gonna find out...oh wrong list! 
We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!! Looking so forward to being immersed in the magic. And like the commercial...tonight I will be too excited to sleep!!!!!

I really liked your holiday hats from your previous trip! Hopefully they'll have the same or similar ones when I go to Disneyland in December. Have a great trip!

IT WAS AN AMAZING WEEK. The weather perfect, the crowds manageable and there was MAGIC galore!! I'm hoping to start my trip report this weekend. And start planning my next trip too!!! 
Didn't want to leave!!!! Took tons of pics and we are completely exhausted. I'm so glad I took Monday off - our kids started school and we are just now getting back into our routine. Can't wait for the weekend!!!!!!!
