Pre Trip for Perrin: MAW WDW/GKTW for Star Wars Weekend!! June 2-9 2011!

First off, thanks for all the Happy Easter wishes. Loved them!

Second, I called GKTW this morning and they said to get in touch with our chapter and they would approve it through their supervisor when it comes through the computer. I emailed our wish manager and she is out of the office until tomorrow so I will find out tomorrow. On another note, my sweet baby boy turns 2 on Friday! I can't believe he is not a baby anymore, he's a big boy now!!

Haha! I'm pretty sure that our wish manager won't have a problem with it. I called his mental health professionals office to make an appointment to get a letter saying she is an emotional support animal for the airline, just in case. I have been online this morning to get an id tag made, I heard it helps at the airport so they don't think she is just a pet. Now I just need Daddy's ok! LOL

I think we are just going to carry her on the plane. The airline didn't say anything about a health certificate but I am going to bring her Rabies tag, just in case. I am watching a couple of travel bags on ebay for pretty cheap so if I can snag one of those I will. If not, on the leash it is! LOL

I have a rolling travel bag from Target that I like - its nice to be able to put her in the bag, especially if you are worried she might have a whoopsie doodle!! We make sure her name tag has our cell phone number on it figureing that if she is travelling with us, we will have our cell phone with us. We got Zoey a disney tshirt and a disney name tag when we were there last time!!! lol love to spoil my furbaby!!

I want to have a bag for her, just so that's one less "person" I have to keep track of! hehe. She has an id tag w. my cell phone number on it since the only phones we have are our cell phones. She has Perrin's name on her tag too! I bet Zoey loves to be spoiled too! We got Stella a little fleece jacket in Feb when it was cold here and my husband made fun of me! He doesn't like small dogs much, but he understands that she isn't for him or the family, she is who Perrin picked out.

I hope so too. Mason is a bit standoffish about taking her, we have never traveled with her before. Actually we have NEVER taken a family vacation! He is afraid that she will whine too much when we go to the parks and disturb someone, but she is pretty good about that at home.

I don't know if you'd even hear her whine...there is so much going on in the parks, between the music they play and everyone talking/screaming/singing/laughing! I would think if she will help Perrin out so much, it will be worth while to have her with you in the parks!

That's what I was thinking too! I got an email from our wish manager saying that they need a letter from our Dr saying Perrin needs her there and she will fax it to GKTW. Then they will need Stella's vaccine record to make sure she is up to date. Which is no problem!! I have called his neuro and left a message for the letter!

This morning around 10, we hear our doorbell ring. This is an odd occurrence because we never have anyone at our door except for the occasional salesman or solicitor. I open the door and what's there?!

A box!!! A couple of weeks ago, I received a pm that we were chosen for a BIG GIVE!!! I felt so honored! Heck, I still feel honored!!

I am uploading the pics to photobucket right now, so more will follow! I had been waiting since 10 am until P got home at 3 pm to open it! I felt like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for Mom and Dad to get up!!!!!

JuJu's Bag! She was more patient, so I was able to get more pictures! LOL

When Perrin first saw his bag he said "AWWW There's a little Yoda man on my bag! That's AWESOME!!

P's airplane bag! SO AWESOME!!!

There was also a bag for Alek but he was moody so I was unable to get pictures. His is a mickey bag with cookies, a pooh bear coloring book and board book, cheez its, a cars cup, and crayons.

He was being a butt all day! Tried to get him to come down to open the box with the other two and he didn't want to turn off Go Diego Go! LOL.
