Hello! We have an iffy trip to the World in April and was wondering, what are some pre-trip activites that we can make for our 6 year old to do. I have
-Countdown Calander
- Home made Autography books'
-Home made t-shirts

What have you guys done in the past?
Thanks!
-Christine

I bought a book of construction paper and made a countdown link chain. Just cut in strips glue the ends with a glue stick and keep connecting them & gluing. My two girls loved making it and sure enough every morning when they wake up they pull off a ring and havent forgotten one morning. I think we started with around 25 rings.

Oh and they also sell these Cinderella make it N bake (similar to a shrinkydink)it necklace & bracelet sets in Target. You add the crystals to the charms by following the color chart & put it in the oven, they came out gorgeous like glass and will be wearing them to the princess meals.

Another thing i found these gorgeous crown shaped crystals (they also came with round & over stones) at Michaels and put them on hats, this morning made a handband with the same crystals.

Christine-

We took our first trip to the World this past January; one of my kids' favorite things was when we'd do movie night! I scoured the internet for recipes from the resorts and park restaurants, then once a week we'd pick a menu to go with a Disney movie. It doesn't have to be a big deal, it could be fish sticks and Finding Nemo, or you can go all out like we did with Lilo And Stictch, making a fully replicated O'hana's dinner.

It was a HUGE hit!

My kids love to do arts and craft stuff.... soooo I printed off coloring pages of all of the countries flags in Epcot. Sometimes they just color the page other times I will let the paint it. ect. I've also been teaching them how to say hello in every language. We also do the count down with the chain... and they LOVE that!

Love the ideas! Hmmm snow white carmel apples! Yummm LOL anyone have a monte cristo recipe? Deeply cravin one atm haha I'll get started on the hellos holas...um and all the rest ;) thank you!
