Pre-School Lottery

I'm sitting here on pins and needles!! I have to wait 30 minutes till the drawing is finished for the pre-school selection for DD3. We live in a HUGE town, and there are about 1,000,000 kids trying to get into the township (FREE) pre-school and we are one of them. I really hope she gets in, because we can't afford to send her to a private one, and she really needs socialization! Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!

Hahaha I don't really know how many kids were registered, but this is a very large town... probally over 300 kids and its only for ONE CLASS and children with "special needs" get in automatically. If there is any room left, then the rest of the kids get picked. I tell ya though, our taxes have been going up every single year ever since we moved into this town 5 years ago - I think they should have a few more classes to accomidate the rising population.

I just called - SHE GOT IN!!!! She was the first one pulled!!!! I'm so excited!!! I mean its only like 3 days a week, from 9-12 or something like that, but the point is she needs the socialization, and I'm sure they do teach some stuff there... hopefully more than I've though her here.
But..... now that I'm over my excitment.... I'm kind of realizing that I'm losing my baby - she really is a big girl now....
Next - HOMEWORK
Pain-in-the-butt DH is at a college baseball game and AS USUAL has NOT taken his cell phone with him, so I have NO WAY OF GETTING IN TOUCH WITH HIM!!!

EDIT - I just looked at the paper - its every day! I don't know how I feel about that..... kinda nervous.... time for a new thread here!
