Pre rope drop breakfast

We called the other day and got a pre rope drop reservation at crystal palace at 8:30. Getting out in time for rope drop isn't a priority but getting photos of the empty Main Street is. We are wondering how early they will let us into the park. Would an 8.15 reservation be better?

What time of year are you going? It is not unusual for Disney to extend hours to open earlier that originally announced during busy times of the year. 8 AM openings are common and in the busiest times of the year the MK can open as early as 7 AM. Don't get your hopes up too much, it could change. There were LOTS of angry, disappointed folks during the holidays last year.
An 8:15 ADR would be better, but 8:30 should be fine.

Thanks! We're going in mid August so I wouldn't think we'd have to worry? There's an 8:15 available online so I'm wondering if we should have that instead.

Book 815, we loved be only ones on Main Street it was magical

I would take the 8:15am. There will be less people on Main Street. Have fun. The CP pre-park opening breakfast is our favourite ADR at Disney!

Book 815, we loved be only ones on Main Street it was magical

We are going beginning of August and have an 8:10 CP reservation. This may be a silly question but will there be PP photographers out that early? I would love to get a family shot without all the crowds.

Yes, there will be PP photographers there. We do a pre park breakfast in MK every trip, just for this reason.

I'd take the 8:15. We entered the park at about 7:45 and got some really fun pictures. it was a great experience to be in the Magic Kingdom before it was packed on a summer day. The restaurant would be less busy a little earlier, too.
