Pre purchase photopass

i know last year I bought photopass for all 3'park days prior to even arriving.
Why am I struggling to find this option now? We'll have a 5 day visit this time and I really wanted to prepurchase

There's no point to pre-purchasing any more. There is no longer a discount for pre-purchasing. However, if you really, really want to, here's the link: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/photopass/products.

I don't get it. Wouldn't it now be more cost effective to have one member of your party purchase Maxpass for each day of your visit whether or not you care about the fastpass benefit since unlimited photopass is included?

The problem (if it is a problem, which we don't know, yet) would be that the one person with Maxpass wouldn't get FPs via the machines like the rest of the party. We'll have to see how MP and FP work together - whether the return times are the same at the same time regardless of which type of FP you're getting.

Good point! But what if you're separated? If half my family is on one ride , and the person with Maxpass isn't on that ride do they still get the download? Just have to put the code in? Hmmm...interesting.
