New Group: Me again, with DH , his DS John, DIL Judy, DGD Linda (age 11 and ready for anything); DGS1 Tommy (age 9 and not ready for anything) and DGS2 Matt (age 5 and lover of all characters)

Friday, April 5: On to MGM, which I think is the least manageable park because of the number of shows that start at different times. DGD seriously wanted to go on RR, and I had said I would try it, but I felt so bad that I just didn’t feel up to it. Aside from that, you pretty much have to be there at park opening to do this without a wait, and this was kind of a late day for us. We decided to split up the boys and girls, with the girls doing girly Little Mermaid (DGS2 couldn’t do it because he's allergic to the artificial fog) and the boys doing Disney Playhouse. We didn’t make the first show of Mermaid, so the wait was more than I expected, but I ran over to Star Tours for FP’s for everyone while we were waiting. Got back just as the line was moving in, and had to find DIL & DGD as they went in. I climbed under the ropes to get to them, and I’m sure some folks thought I was cutting in line. But DIL realized my problem and shouted real loud to let people know I was joining a group. I didn’t make eye contact with anyone; just focused on getting back with them. Little Mermaid was very good; I liked it better than last time. I think sitting further in the back is much better because you get the full effect. We then went to Muppets, one of my favorites, and everyone liked it. I had forgotten you get sprayed so that was a fun surprise. Went to the Walt Disney movie while we were waiting for our Star Tours FP time, and at some point DS went and got a FP for Indiana Jones. I really don’t remember MGM that well, and some of this may be out of order. I was feeling pretty bad that day and DH & I left and went back to the hotel while the rest went to Indiana Jones, which seemed to be a big hit. We stayed in that night as well, trying to recuperate for Animal Kingdom tomorrow, which is my second favorite park after MK. No way was I going to miss it. DH & I ordered room service hamburgers. and the family went over to World Showcase for dinner at the French restaurant. They said the food was really very good – will have to put it on my to-do list. By the time they got over there and ate, there really wasn’t much time to do anything else.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling good - nothing like being sick while on vacation and at WDW to boot - thanks for posting!
