Hi everyone,
It's been a very long time since I was on here. I was last here when myself and my best friend went on our very first holiday to WDW! We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort for 10 days, and managed to successfully visit every park, including Disney, Universal, Seaworld and Busch Gardens!
Ever since we got back I have been desperate to go back, but have been at uni since then. I am now pre-planning booking our next trip! We don't have anything booked at the moment, but are checking out prices etc.
The problem I have is that I am struggling financially (and have been since being at uni!!!). But I feel like I NEED something to look forward to, and I know if we were going back to Florida, I would be over the moon! Had a bit of a hard year last year too, so definitely feel like a break is on the cards.
What we are planning so far:
7 days staying at a hotel on I-Drive. Focussing on either Disney or Universal/Seaworld, as we can't afford tickets for all parks again this time around. Plus we want more time to explore some of Orlando, which we didn't really get a chance to do previously. We are looking at dates around the middle of February, as that is when we both have some annual leave. So far, with Virgin we are looking at around £1600 total - not including park tickets, but we would get these nearer the time.
Does this seem reasonable? And does anyone have any personal experience of Orlando at this time of year with regards to crowds/weather?
My parents seem to think I am being silly and impulsive, but I know this break would do both of us the world of good! Just thinking about it makes me all warm inside
Thanks for reading, and for any advice you can give
