Pre-Park Opening ADRs

I have several breakfast ADRs that are before park opening. I've read several times that CMs will check at the turnstiles to make sure you have an ADR, but all the times I've eaten at CP, or anywhere else, before park opening, I've never gotten asked my name, confirmation number, or anything like that. Why don't they bother checking?

Very weird... We have eaten in the parks several times before openning... And I am sure they checked the list every time

We had an ADR for Akershus before park opening and they had a list that they checked. I had to give my name, and so did everybody else in line.

In December, we had pre-park opening adrs in Epcot at Norway and in MK at Tony's grand gathering breakfast. Both locations asked for our names to check-off the list. At MK there was a sign to the far right where a CM was checking names and letting you in. It was near guest relations. At Epcot we went through the back gate and they had a list for checking names as well.
