I booked a BOG ADR at 8:05 because I wasn't able to get an A&E FP. By some stroke of luck, someone canceled as I was checking and I was able to get FP for our whole party in the afternoon! :cheer2:

I'm wondering if I should keep my BOG ADR or cancel it and just do rope drop. We already have FP for 7DMT... I'm hoping to do PP and Rapunzel first thing before the lines get too long.

I guess my question is, does a BOG bfast offer any advantage for PP or Rapunzel, or am I better off just joining the RD masses? Ive never done RD mostly because it sounds chaotic. I wouldn't mine seeing inside of Beast's castle, but $24 for a breakfast - oy.

If you're not going to BOG any other time then I'd say keep it. It's a great restaurant and beautiful inside.

I don't know if they'll let you queue early for Peter Pan or Rapunzel, but they do for 7DMT.

I would keep it just to be in the park before opening to get some great pictures and ride a couple of rides. I agree that the breakfast is pricey and doesn't loom like a great choice though.

Yes,if you get through with Breakfast in time, you can line up at Princess Fairytale Hall or go to the area close to Pan and wait-they will then let you do either ahead of the Maingate Line at Park Opening(to my knowledge, the only thing they open "early" is still just SDMT.:)

Because they open SDMT early, is it possible to do both without a long wait? We too have BOG breakfast reservations. If we hopped on SDMT first, could we beat the rest of the crowds to Anna and Elsa?

Possible, totally depends on how early they begin letting BOG Guests ride SDMT on that day.:)

Sorry to hijack--I did not realize they let pre-park ADR guests ride 7DMT early! I have a FP for it late-morning, and we were planning to wait for PP flight after our BOG breakfast, like OP. Would it be better then to go ahead and get a ride on 7DMT and try to switch our FP+ for PP then? Lately, have they always been allowing early entry in 7DMT?

If they start SDMT early enough, you could ride once and head straight over to Pan and be in position to ride it at Rope Drop ahead of the Maingate Line.:)

There's just no way to tell how early they will start SDMT on any given day or IF they will do it at all(mechanical problems,etc.).

Here is a Thread you may find helpful.:)

our experience in Nov was, we entered the park at 8, took pics on main st., ate at bog and took lots of pics and explored the restaurant, got in line for mine train, rode 3 times before rope drop ppl arrived, headed to pp, waited about 5 min, then on to pooh waited about 10 min, and went from there. I don't know the crowd level that day, but it seemed to be very busy and we certainly got everything we wanted done before, and after an afternoon break. have a great time!!

The price is high. But you might consider splitting entrees since you get a plate of pastries with your food that includes a croissant, muffin, bread, etc. We were both so full from our plates we barely touched the pastries. In February we did the 8:05 reservation and took lots of great pictures. Had a nice meal in the West Wing. Got two rides on 7DMT before the rope drop crowd and then moved over to Space Mountain with almost no wait. Getting that one or two ride head start positions you very well for the rest of the morning. You're just a step ahead of the crowd.

For those that use Disney transportation, what time were you at the bus stop at your resort and did you feel like you made it to MK with time to spare (for 8 AM ADR's)?

This is great info - thanks! We will keep the ADR and enjoy a leisurely walk down Main St and a good position for RD :)

This was our experience as well. Even with the recent price increase, I still think it's worth it for the benefit of the jump you get on RD crowds.
