PRE-paring to Cruise the Wonder! With Pics!

Oh this is a fun report, I can't wait! We also did a 4 day with our first Disney cruise, back in 2005. You will LOVE this cruise!!! Its just a perfect amount of time for your first time. We loved it so much that I turned around and booked a 7 day for the very next yr. to celebrate our oldest graduating high school. Oh my gosh, you'll be doing the same, be prepared to come home and want to book again.

Wait till you experience the service on DCL. Its like nothing you've ever experienced. Everywhere you go, they are just SO friendly and want to make you happy. I would give anything to go back, anything.

In the mean time, we'll be loving our DVC, its much "cheaper". But boy oh boy, would I love to get back on the Magic someday. Have a ball, I cannot wait to read everything!!!

I can't believe that it's getting so close! I have to find that packing list you are talking about... I'm a list maker too. Bite your tongue about back to school shopping - I don't even want to think about that yet!!!! ugh.... The summer is going by way too fast for me... (but is always does for teachers!!!! )

I know!! The summer is flying by! The weather here has been on the cool side, but it is still better than snow!! I am soooo not ready to school shop!

Thank you for reading! You know, we booked this cruise using our DVC points. I know that it is not the best use of points, but it helped us afford to go.

I can sense how excited about it you are and I haven't been there yet and I am equally excited. I am going to do my best to do a thorough trip report when we return. I told DH that he should plan on us booking on board for another one! I wish I could bring you along!!

As I post this, we are just 26 days away from leaving for our vacation! I want the trip to get here, but I also want to savor the excitement...ya know?

Whenever we head home from vacation, my DS and I mourn together. DH thinks that we are crazy and laughs at us. Don't get me wrong, DH cries too, but usually its about all the money we just spent

We already have the next trip in the works (WDW w/friends in June 2010), so that should ease the pain a little. AND, of course I will come find my DIS friends for support .

Well, this weekend I went to Dress Barn and found a black dress for PALO dinner (I will post a pic later). I am my worst critic, but I thought it looked good on me. It was only $40! I also found black shoes and a silver/black necklace.

We started doing some packing (I know, early!) as we could no longer see the top of our dressers. It is challenging packing for the parks and the cruise. DH said that he would be willing to do laundry so we wouldn't have to bring so much....I better get that in writing!

I also got the magnets affixed to the back of our cruise door signs, so that is done!!

Oooo...I also drew a little countdown outside my cubicle at work, so all my co-workers are counting down with me

The week ahead looks pretty quiet here, so I should have time to finish my FE stuff and work some more on Kaylee's birthday party. I am really looking forward to her party, too!

Should I worry that I was the last one to post? Anyone here??? HELLLLOOOO??? Hope I haven't bored you to tears!!!

We are just two weeks away from leaving for vacation and I am a mess!!!

Still a lot to do and so little time!! Right now I should be exercising, but I can't get my lazy butt of the couch!!

Last week I ordered the autograph books online and we got them today. They are awesome!!!! I am going to put a little gift bag together for the kids for the day we leave and these will be in them. I think that the kids will love them.

I need to order our WDW AP's, 'cause I hear the price is going up as of 8/1/09.
Outside of that, just getting things ready for the next busy few weeks.

yeah.. you're on your trip right now!!! Cant wait til you get back and post about your trip.. We leave this coming Thursday to drive to Florida.. we're headed on Carnival Glory for 1 week and then get back the following Saturday and then Sunday get on Wonder.. I so cant wait!!!

Hi Everyone!!

The last few weeks before the trip were crazy and as a result I didn't get to post my final pre-planning. But, alas, we are back and now I must get ready to do my trip report!!

Thanks for following along! We had the BEST time EVAH!!!! We are already thinking about our next cruise, likely in 2011.

I have been a WDW loyalist, but now I am a DCL convert!!!!! Look for my trip report real soon with plenty of pics!!!
