Do these expire or will I need to purchase for and use it on a specific day? Can I purchase, say, 10 pre-paid parking passes and use one whenever I decide to visit the parks?

No idea about that but if you plan to visit ten times, it may be worth your while to buy a Sig AP. It would be cheaper for your park entrance and it includes parking.

Actually, I just recently lost a grandfathered parking pass from a previous AP that I let expire by my own error. You can read about it in a recent post I made. I now have the Flex AP without parking pass, and it was not cost-effective to upgrade further into Sig AP.

Try calling Guest Services and the AP Hotline to ask about this. Call both so that you can compare answers, just in case you get different information. The least expensive parking options right now are the ARTIC station and the ART shuttle or Uber/Lyft to the parks or the Fullerton train/Metrorail station and the OCTA. We have DISers who use both options and report that the savings over parking at DLR is significant over a year.

Piggybacking here a little, I hope it's OK, but what are the advantages of pre-paid parking vs. purchasing day of on-site? My assumption is it's faster, but it's been a long time since I've parked in the lot versus one of the DLR hotels.

I know some people like to pre-pay for budget reasons. They like knowing that all the basic trip needs are covered before they arrive, e.g. tickets, hotel, parking, gift cards for meals and souvenirs, etc. It brings peace of mind.
