Pre-Paid Legal Services???

Has anyone heard of Pre-Paid Legal Services?
I am in need of legal advice and my sister recommended I call this company. They said they charge $36 for one month of legal services for any reason. And after talking to the "salesman" he said that my problem could be solved in less than a month. He e-mailed me a form to fill out and they will charge my Visa the $36.
I am a little leary of giving my charge account over the internet to a company I don't know about. After they get my money they will send me a list of attorneys to call and discuss the situation.
The problem I have is that a friend is living in my basement and it is time for him to move out. I told him many times but he has not made any attempt to move. He was at one time my fiance but he got ill and due to many circumstances we broke off the engagement. I allowed him to move into my basement because he had nowhere else to go and had no money. Now he is claiming that he is entitled to half of everything I own including my home because we have been "co-habitating" for 8 years. We cohabitated for 2 years before he became ill and he moved into the basement in 2000.
I need some advice on how to evict him. Peggie

Often it's a certain amount a month with a minimum one year contract. I'd be VERY careful of what I sign or who I give a credit card number to.

Have you called legal aid or the law clinic at a local law school? They often take cases for free or a very low cost.
