Does anyone know if Disney sells these cards? I would like to give them to the kids so they have there own spending money and when it is gone then it is gone. (Hopefully i won't cave and give them more. :flower: ) Also do you think 100.00 is enough,to much, or just right for a 7 and 9 yr olds? This is our first trip so i'm sure they will want everything they see. Thanks in advance for all the tips.

I'm not sure if they have these cards but I think that is a GREAT idea!!!

You need to do what you can afford to do, however our first (and only sofar) trip to Disney I spent quite a bit on our two girls. You are right, they are so overwhelmed by everything and want everything ;)

The worst part is DH and I are kids at heart too so we got just as excited :rotfl:

The gift cards that you can buy at the Disney Store are no good at WDW. You can go to your local Disney Store and purchase "Disney Dollars". I bought them for my kids (DS- 9, DD - 6) last year, gave each of them a wallet and a fannyback to wear in the park and they loved it. DS got $90 and DD got $60 ($10 for each year of their age). It was the greatest thing.....taught them both a little bit about thinking before spending. They both made really wise choices.

Hope this information helps.

American Express also sells cards through some banks that act like credit cardswith set spending limits. You should look into them as well. ;)
