My family of 6 has two BOG ADRs next month (3 for 12:40 and 3 for 12:50). This is as close as I can get them, but I will keep trying. Is it possible for us to pre-order and still be able to eat together? Or will 3 of us get food before the other 3 do. I have done pre-ordering once, but it was several years ago and can't remember how it works.

You can pre-order for both groups, and everyone can get in the pre-order line together, just inside of BOG. They will go over your orders and process payment; at that point, they will tell you to sit wherever you like. You will need to place your receipt on the table, for your server. The orders should arrive very close together in time, unless someone ordered from the allergy offerings, which can take a bit longer.

Just put all the food orders with the first group! You can order as much as you like. We've done that before and it worked fine!

Thank you both! I like the idea of ordering with the first group, but will our food come out before the second group even gets in the restaurant? What are my chances that they will let the 12:50 group in with the 12:40 group?

I think they'll just let you all in together! We have done this before where we had a small time difference between reservations and they let us all in together and we ordered everything under the earlier reservation time.

They will check you in 5 minutes early, without an issue. They will also check you in 5 minutes late. Your entire group first will be checking in at the outdoor stand, to the left of the walk-up line; so, the first group can check in, while the second group checks in 5 minutes later. Both groups can then walk in to the restaurant together, stand in line in the pre-order line together, and go over orders and pay. Since it may be more difficult to find a larger table, some may want to hunt for a table, while others stand in the order/pay line. The orders don't go in for prep, until you confirm and pay. Either way, there will not be a problem.
