Pre-opening Breakfast When on Western Time Zone

This is a bit of a random question, and I'm not sure I'm even posting it in the right place, but I'm hoping for some opinions/past experiences.

We are planning on breakfast at Crystal Palace and Tusker House. A pre-opening breakfast would be great, but I am wondering if the time difference would be really hard on us (particularly my 4 year old). We're staying at the Akl, so from what I've read, we would need to allow a 1 hour travel time for the buses (including waiting). We are planning on going to our room each day for nap time/resting.

Anyone with some insight or advice?

The smartest thing to do is to shift to the new time as soon as you get on the plane. Change the clocks on your phone, and do not even think about what time it is at home.

That's really going to depend on your kid. If you can't imagine getting him ready to go and out the door by 4 am at home without having a terrible day...I wouldn't.

It can depend how far it is into your trip though. If you've adjusted to the time zone and have an early riser, you could be fine. And if you put it later in a trip, you can see how he's doing and cancel the day before if you see that it won't work. Putting it before or after a rest day might help too.

We are planning on Crystal Palace our first full day... Probably will schedule breakfast for after opening. I don't want a crabby kid at Disney World! Maybe we can make it work for Tusker House.

Late breakfast can be great! You can do rope drop and get a good amount of stuff done before a 10:30 ADR. Also, that way you don't need to feel like rushing your meal and character interaction in order to get ahead of the rope drop crowd.
