Hi All,

We are cruising on the Western Inaugural and staying pre night at the Raddison. Anyone else doing that? and if so lets set up a time in the lounge or poolside to meet. I see on the Western Inaugural post it mentions it. but not everyone is staying at Raddison.

So lets here it, who is and if u all planned it already let me know.

Thanks

We'll be on the Western inaugural and at the Radisson Friday night. Seems I saw something on the "Who is going" thread about meeting at the Raddison; but nothing definite. Would be nice to meet before hand. Do you kno when check in is?

Less than 13 weeks now!!:pinkbounc

We are at the Radisson Friday night we have talked to Joe and Joann about meeting Friday night but do not have any definite plans as to time and place. I'm not sure what time anyone is checking in. We are planning to be there by 5-6 pm. Let's decide on a time and place and just inform everyone. What do ya'll think??

Vicki

After reading my post, I realize poolside would be better than lounge, since there will be children present.

We don't land till 5:15 P.M. Friday evening so I guess I'll meet you all out at the pool, or whereever you guys decide to meet between 7:30-8:30 if all goes smoothly.

Sound good to you Vicki. If you have other choices or plans let me know, We'll be there. Just keep me in the loop and let me know what and where you decide after u talk to Joe and Joann.

Hi Inagguies?

We are scheduled to be into MCI at 10AM on the 10th so we should be there in plenty of time. We will be able to attend or meet with any arrangements. We should be at the pool, unless we get a serious case of sunburn during the afternoon. If this be the case we can meet at the ER? (not). We may have to go to RonJon Surf shops to get some lime green bathing suits?

WHO'S GOING TO BE HERE ??????????????

I'm curious - do most people who stay at the Raddison the night before a cruise:

1) Fly in to a nearby airport and drive to the Raddison

or

2) Did you decide not to use an airline and drove all the way?

The last time we took a DCL cruise we flew to Orlando and stayed at the Hyatt the night before and used DCL transfers to Port Canaveral. Would it be better to go to the Raddison the day before and spend the night?

What are the advantages each way?

For our family, we're driving onto the Cape the day before and staying that night at the Radisson. We decided that we didn't want to be rushed the morning our cruise departs.

For people flying in that morning, I would be fearful that something would go wrong and we'd miss the cruise. Too many times lately, I've seen where the airports are being cleared because of some security breach. That means lots of flights are significantly delayed.

Personnally, I want to be the first person in line so we can get the Palo & Spa reservations we want.

Besides, the thought of waking up on the morning of July 6th and looking out our window to see the Magic sounds like pure heaven!:D

Hi
Nothing like relaxing after a hard morning flight. Me personally, I like to fly out the morning before on the very first flight to the destination. Why? 1. There are very few flights cancelled first thing in the morning. 2. Weather is almost always calm in the morning, less chance of delay. 3. Crews usually show up on time. 4. If your plane is cancelled you have all day to find another one, same for the crew. and 5. I have all day at the destination to find out where I am going?

That said, for me there are too many "ifs" staying far from my destination point. what if there is a major accident (road blocked), vehicle, cab, taxi, limo breaks down, store closed, bad weather, missed connections, you get the point. Never been dissappointed in any trip I scheduled. TA different story.

We are flying in to MCO and renting an Avis car. Avis has a drop off at Radisson.
I can't seem to post anything on the 5/11 thread, its saying the page can't be found.

If this post goes through... HI ALL
Joe, I hope you got my e mail.
2 more months YEAH

Poolside meeting! I have a tip......bring bug spray. The Raddison is great, and the pool area is very nice, but they have many landscape type "ponds" with standing water and the mosquites are terrible! So much so that when we met with our Dis group last year our party was cut short due to blood loss!LOL!
Have a great time!

Hi Folks
That Does it! Mosquitoes? Those lousy little critters would not even think of spoiling our vacation. I am e-mailing the Radisson tonight and letting the groundskeeper know that it would be most appreciated if they would kindly chlorinate the standing pools of water, put up vac fans, bug zappers, and any other unreasonable request for items to take care of the little critters. That said, we may have to re-think the Boones Farm? It has a fruity smell to it and the buggies love it. No way this will not happen.... To be continued at poolside.....in the event of a cancellation of the party by the pool, please inform Radisson Desk Personnel to let others on the 11 May cruise know of your whereabouts. Since we don't know each others name leave your screen name as well! Got to go get a rink/ drink!

Still counting..Scott?
