Booked by reservation on the 28th for DCA.
Purchased Genie+, funny how the Magic Key (MK) "discount" is now just the original price of G+ .
Goal was to experience the Halloween attractions and Fantasmic.
Used *********** for the Blue Bayou package at 630pm. I was able to get one on the 29th.

I arrived at Rope Drop at DCA started with Monsters Inc., because I was going to use G+ and did not care to fish for MEPs.
Then did Mater's, Luigi's, Single Ride Racers.
Used LL for Guardians, but it must have been down for at least 10 minutes. LL was backed up, and no screams came from the building.
Then got in line for Web Slingers Single Rider, and it broke down while waiting outside. Not a big deal, since I did not want to ride it anyways.
Went to have breakfast at GCH Craftsman Grill. I liked the Huevos Rancheros (more like breakfast pizza), and my wife did not like the Egg White omelet.
By now it was 10am, and had a LL for TSMM, but that LL line was extremely long, and they were not letting anyone into the Standby Line.
So did a walk around the pier, lines were crazy long by then. Opted to ride Mermaid, 10 minute wait.
Left the park by 1130am.

Went home to watch the Rams game. Booked Guardians Monsters for 5pm.
We left for the park at 445pm, and arrived at DCA by 530pm. LL while long was not as bad as it was during the day. Exited the ride by 610pm.
Hightailed it over to Disneyland. While walking near the Adventureland entrance, I checked into my reservation at the Blue Bayou at 628pm through the app.
Verified my name at the entrance of the Blue Bayou, was almost immediately seated with a waterfront view (never had this view without asking for it).

I was worried about the Blue Bayou food after hearing about it on the DIS, but I have to say I was surprised how much I liked my Filet dish. The Gumbo and Salad was also good. Note the filet is a bit different from what I am used to, as it seems to have a sort of salsa type topping. The potatoes were fine, odd that they were on top of a pasta type sauce.
The house wine was also tasty, and I like the Imagination Mousse dessert.
The only issue I had was that the service was a bit slow, but I do not blame the CM for that as they seem to be overwhelmed by the number of tables they serve. Dessert took 20 minutes to get after the main course was done.
Left the BB at 8pm and headed to the Fantasmic entry.

The line for the Hungry Bear was quite long, so I recommend getting there a bit early for a better view.
For the Blue Bayou, there was barely a line, maybe 12 people in front of us.
Which is fine, because most guests try to get a spot near the water, where I know better, and get a spot closer to the back.
I would say if you get there by 830pm, you should get a pretty good view in the BB section.
Guests didn't seem to arrive until 845pm.

After Fantasmic (still like the original version more, and miss the Peter Pan segment) stayed for the fireworks. Which was fine.
Then used LL for Thunder Mountain, did the walk around Galaxy's Edge, finished with Mansion Holiday (long standby and LL wait).
Did some shopping and walked back to the M&F Parking Structure (the tram line was crazy long).

All in all, a good day, but the thing that sticks out is how many things (figures, effects) are broken on the attractions and how much downtime the attractions are getting.
