Pre-existing park reservations with canceled APs?

So we made park reservations back when Disney reopened for a trip in November but decided to (regretfully) cancel our APs in July since we didn’t think we would go back before next year. We are now going forward with our original trip plans and have just decided to just buy 5 day passes for it instead. Our old park reservations are still showing in My Disney Experience so my question is, do I have to cancel those and rebook the park reservations? Or can I just leave it. We still want to go on the same days. They were booked when we had APs so will that affect us at the entrance since we now have day passes instead of APs?

Thanks in advanced for any help.

I can’t say for sure, but I had park reservations I made with tickets from a package, and they stayed on my account when I cancelled the package and bought my tickets and resort separately, so I would say the chances are good that your reservations will be fine.

From what I have heard they should be fine. However, if those days are still available, then why not cancel and rebook them to be safe?

Like ADRs, Park Reservations appear to be completely independent and not attached to tickets, resort reservations or anything else. There have been zero reports of Park Reservations being removed from an account under any circumstances except for the guest canceling them.

You have to have tickets attached to gain entry to the Park Reservation system, but once made, there doesn't seem to be any actual connection to anything else. So no automatic cancelation if tickets or trip change.
