Pre-Cruise Hotel near port needed

My parents and I are planning on doing our 2nd Disney cruise in Jan. Because we livve in MN, we are flyng in a day early.

We are currentlylooking for a hotel near the port that offers free parking as well as a free shuttle service to the ship.

Does anyone have any recommendations???? For those of you who have booked a hotel near the port, where/how did you get the best rate?

Try the Raddison. Its right across the street. The best rates are on their website and parking is freeeee!

Not really. It's a couple miles away, but it IS the closest hotel to the terminal.

We did the Wonder 8/19/04 and stayed at the Comfort Inn in Cocoa Beach. You need a car to get there but the price was reasonable and the place was conveniently located near restaurants and stores etc. I would definitely stay there when I do the Wonder again next 8/05.

We stayed at the Radisson last cruise and plan to do it again this cruise..we loved it there!

We have stayed at the Radisson a few times pre cruise and also have stayed at the Holiday Inn and the Doubletree (both of the latter ones were booked on Priceline for $39. per night).

That being said I still like the Radisson best and we are staying there on 9/24 before our 9/25 cruise...is all goes well with the weather!!!

I just got word that The Resort on Cocoa Beach won't be able to honor my reservation in October because of Hurricane damage. They have offered me a comparable room at their sister-resort, Discovery Beach, for the same price.

Has anyone stayed there? Was it okay? Were there restaurants nearby?

ANY info would be appreciated. I'm at a complete loss.
