Pre-COVID Halloween Cruises

We're booked for a Halloween cruise, which we've never done. We are cruising with a 2 yrs old, a 4yrs old and a 13 yrs old. What kinds of activities, decorations, trick or treating is there? Is it all on one day? Looking for information on Pre-COVID cruise since I'm optimistic that things will be much better by October!

Pre covid there were events like the halloween tree in the atrium, trick or treating in the atrium and around that area, Nightmare Before Christmas scream along with a meet and greet after. There was quite a bit of stuff.

I have never been a guest, but working onboard during Halloween is always one of my favourite times, especially since Halloween is not a big thing in my country ( or wasn’t as I was growing up).

It was spread out throughout the cruise. There’s the atrium tree show mentioned, a Nightmare Before Christmas screening with Jack and Sally appearing, a costume night (with the characters in their Halloween costumes too). Sure there was more but that’s what comes to mind atm. Really enjoyed my Halloween cruise in ‘19!

Lots of good things--we've been on 5 Halloween Cruises. BUT--I wonder about things being normal ever again. They seem bound and determined to impose as many restrictions as possible.
