One website says that we can pre-book excursions through DCL at 90 days before our cruise sails if we are paid in full. Then we just got email from Dreams Unlimited that said to remember that we can pre-book our excursions at 60 days before our cruise sails. Which is it???

Confused,
Julie

Disney just changed all of there terms a few months back. It used to be 60, but now it's 90. They require you to be paid in full at the 90 day mark now....unless you had your cruise booked before that change took affect.

I booked our excursions at 90 days, nice and painless.....

Hi JulieWent

Yes, it is indeed 90 days.

I took a look at the email Dreams Unlimited Travel sends to clients and I see that it still does say 60 days. The information on the website, order form and Client Services area does reflect 90 days but apparently the email was not changed. It has been corrected now.

Please accept my apologies.

Feel free to email me at john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com if this causes you any problems when trying to prebook your shore excursions.

Thanks
John

Ok, I'm trying to see if I got this straight. If you booked before the 90 day took effect, like we did, then your payment is not due until 60 days out, right? But in order to book excursions 90 days out, you need to be paid in full, 90 days out, regardless of whether or not you booked before the 90 day policy went into effect, right? So, what I'm getting at here, is that there is no way anyone can book excursions at any time unless they are paid in full, right? So there is no way I can book excursions at 90 days and then wait until my 60 day mark arrives to pay in full, right? Whew! lol .. I bet not. Thanks for any info.

I just spoke to DCL line today and they said if you are booked through a travel agent you don't have to be paid in full to book your shore excursions 90 days prior. My cruise balance isn't paid till 60 days prior too! DCL says no problem! Crystal

Let me throw something else in here. Am I correct that final balance is now due 75 days prior? (unless, you booked under the old policy)

If you are booked through DCL final payment for cat 1, 2 and 3 is due 90 days before sail and all other cat. final payment is 75 days before sailing.
