She and baby are in my prayers.
I do nit have a correlating experience, but I did have level 2 u/s this last pregnancy. I did not have placenta previa, but it was closer than it should be to wherever a previa would occur. Each visit it was a little bit further away. I was told that the placenta can move (not sure if it is really moving or if it is just a growing uterus). So there is hope that the sucker will migrate as she progresses.
Also, with my son,'I had a bleed at 15 weeks. It was determined that the placenta slightly separated from the uterine wall. Some light rest and all was good. However, I was warned that old blood would show up in about a week. It did and freaked me out, but things were fine.
So that is another possibility. And the weird thing, mine was so minor and my OB told me that it could be a lot worse and still be okay. And he is now 3.5 (born at 40 weeks on the nose!)
Prayers that baby stays cooking for at least 3 more weeks to get to the 37 week mark (considered full term by then.)
