Okay, well, I don't know quite where to start..... 
Last night, after I got off the DIS, I got a phone call at midnight from my friend Staci who was staying with my friend Chelsea. She sounded very upset and said that our friend, Chelsea, (the one who went to MNSSHP last Oct. with me) was at the local emergency room having severe pains in her lower, right abdomen.
Apparently, for about 3 days her stomach had been aching and feeling uneasy. It suddenly got tremendously worse, yesterday after school, and they took her to the ER at about 9pm. Staci called us at midnight and told us what was going on. Then we rushed to get to the hospital.
Staci has been going through a rough time right now, and last night was very hard on her. Her mother has been very ill, her father is away at work and his childhood friend died this week, and now she thought that something awful was going to happen to our best friend. When we arrived at the hospital, she had a good cry. It was very heart-wrenching to see her like that and knowing that you can't do anything but stay with her and do your best to give some sort of comfort.
Chelsea was scared....mostly nervous I think, though. They told her what they suspected it to be and she was exhibiting most of the symptoms. At the mention of surgery, she broke down and cried; Cheer-leading try-outs are tomorrow and Mon. She was planning on trying-out. That's impossible now.
By 2am, she was in surgery with acute appendicitis. (Coincidentally, another girl from our small school, of less than 200 kids, was in around the same time with the same problem. She was taken into surgery after Chelsea.)
The surgeon said that it's a good thing that they came when they did because her appendix was red and inflamed and it was very close to bursting.
We may have gotten no sleep at all last night, but thankfully the surgery went well, and tonight she is recovering at home.
Please keep our Chelsea, her family, and Staci in your prayers and thoughts!

And yeah, Chelsea is very pretty; She would kill me if she sees that I posted those pics, because she didn't want people to see her looking rough, (which she really didn't)
