Prayers needed, firefighter battling cancer.

Hello all, I ask for your thoughts and prayers today. A very brave Firefighter from Connecticut is in the hospital battling cancer. His family, friends and co-workers really need all you can spare. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and the brothers of the PBFD. Stay strong brother Todd.
Firefighter Todd Williamson is a firefighter with the Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department here in Groton CT. We provide mutual aid with them and I have know Todd for a long time. At this point only a miracle will help but he is surrounded by friends and family and they are with him 24 hours a day.
He is only 32 and has a wife and two very young children I ask you all to keep him and his family and our brothers in the PBFD in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

At 10 am this morning firefighter Todd Williamson passed away after a very tough fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and fellow firefighters of the PBFD. He will be greatly missed may he rest in peace

I'm sorry to hear about his passing.

I drive by Poquonnock a lot, they are always out there tending to the trucks and hanging out waiting for calls. They seem like a tight knit group.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to his family and friends.

I lost my FIL who was a fire fighter to cancer. I have to say, what an emotional funeral service the fire fighters did. His casket on the fire truck that went by the station where he worked with over 100 fire fighters lining the road from all over our state. I was driving just behind the limo with the immediate family and I was a wreck. So touching. So amazing the love each fire fighter has for one another. The picture of his casket going by his station, with the american flag lowered and with all the fire fighters lining the road made the front page of the paper the next day.
