Prayers need for a mom of a 6yo and a newborn! UPDATE...

Just got an email update from some friends of ours in Georgia. My friend, Elise, just gave birth recently to a baby boy, Stone. She has a six yo little girl named Burgundy. We went through our first pregnancies together and they moved to Ga when our kids were about 3. Well... got an email from her DH...she is in ICU right now. She had a unrinary tract infection thatt ended up in her blood...problems with liver, kidneys, and fluid buildup now. Dr's give her 45% chance of living. Please pray for this family who really needs their mom right now!!! His mom is up there and they have a church helping them...

UPDATE: I got an email from her DH last night. The day before yesterday she was on the ventilator 100%, now she is down to 50%. Good news...he said it will be a few days until they know anything...

My cousin just lost his wife. They found out a few wks ago she had cancer. She was 7mos pregnant - they delivered the baby who just went home yesterday. They have a 5yr girl at home. His wife just died last wk.

I thought I was having a bad day, but after reading this thread, I realize that I have so many blessings in my life...the most important of which is the health of my dear family. My silly problems pale in comparison to what they must be dealing with!
