Prayers for my Aunt and her family-Update She passed away last evening

If you pray, please say one for my aunt and her family today. She is very near the end of a long battle with Breast Cancer. She has battled for a very long time and the cancer has spread all through her. Just a few weeks ago she fell and broke her hip and has been in terrible pain ever since. She was moved to a nursing home and has gone quickly down hill ever since. Her 2 daughters have really had a hard time, because they have also been dealing with their father having serious health problems and had heart surgery with not very good results. He has been on a ventilator for quite a while and had to have a trach and feeding tube this week. He has been sedated and isn't even aware that his dear wife is not going to live much longer.

UPDATE: My Aunt passed away last evening (Monday). Thanks for all the prayers and keeping my family in your thoughts. Please continue with them, as the daughters will have to tell my uncle today. He is not sedated anymore but still on the ventilator with a trach. It will be very hard on him and his health. He has been mouthing words and asking about her and if she was still living, so I do think he is expecting it.


Thank God that she is no longer is the horrible pain she had been in.

Unfortunately I am in the same situation. My auntie (dad's sister) is dying of lung cancer. It is horrible to see a special relative in so much pain.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I just hope she passes peacefully and that they can control her pain. She has been hurting so much.

Dan - She is actually my great aunt, so I think she is in her late 70's. Her daughters are grown.
