Cody is an 11 month old baby who was recently diagnosed with AML, Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. He is almost done with Phase I of the chemo treatments. If you could, please pray for him to get better. With this type of leukemia, the survival rate for children his age is 23 percent. We're praying for a miracle. More info about Cody can be found on his blog at http://codyold.blogspot.com/.

Thanks,
Sue

I too will add my prayers.

Miracles happen every day, I hope this beautiful baby boy will be one of them.

OMG.. I cannot stand this. It is hard enough dealing everyday with seeing people so sick with various cancers....having their treatments, leaving the hospital so weak they can barely walk. Some come in ambulances for treatment, some are driven and brought in in a wheelchair.......thankfully where I am with my husband I do not see the babies sick with this horrid disease. I do not understand. MY heart is broken seeing his sweet face knowing what he will be facing with chemotherapy...not firsthand but as a caretaker.....

Please know that I will be praying for Cody....and I am sure everyone who visits this board will be adding him to their prayer list..

Marsha I saw more than I would have liked of this in the pediatric unit over the christmas break and it's heartwrenching to see these little kids walking around the hallway pulling the IV poles that they are hooked up to , I wanted to cry.
