I'm so sorry to hear this. to you and to you family. Try to stay strong for him but never forget to cry when you need to. Just remember that a diagnosis is not the end. I went through 3 aunts with various cancers. One was told she only had 6 months at most. She lived for 6 years after that diagnosis. Much of that time she was in remission.
So keep positive and hold on. Your Dis family will keep you and yours in our prayers.
Hugs and Love flying your way, each hug and each bit of love is attached to a tiny grain of Pixie Dust! As all your Dis board friends have said, be strong and brave and help your Grandpa through his journey - you are the best companion he could have!!!
Dis,
I'm so glad you came to the boards for support! My dad was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and I really relied on my friends during that time. He is doing great and I will pray for the same for your grandpa. Lots of pixie dust, love, and hugs!
Wow thanks I feel a lot better now. All the prayers sent my Grampa to go home. The hospital let him go home . I'm so happy. But he now is doing chemo therapy, It might work out just great .
DisIvyCo, just wanted to say my prayers are with you and your grandfather and your family. My grandfather was one of my best friends, and when he got ill, it was one of the roughest times of my life. So I know this is not easy on you. There is power in prayer though, so have faith that things will work out.
It's pretty inconsequential in the scheme of things, but if you ever need to be away from VMK to take time for yourself and family or you just don't feel like playing the game, PM me whenever you come back and I'll give you whatever you missed in the shops and games (assuming I don't miss it myself). Take care, and God Bless!
