My mom is having very serious surgery tomorrow. The doctors can not guarantee us a good out come, we just have to hope for the best. The surgery will be taking about 12 hours, so it will be a long day. I was hoping to be able to go to the hospital for the surgery, to be there after, but that will not be possible. The surgery is at one of the hospitals in Toronto, and they have a strict no visitors policy because of the SARS. I for sure can not go in, they may however let my dad in for a few minutes. If you have an extra prayer and PD, please pass a bit on to my mom and my family. Thank-you.
*update* My mom is out of surgery and in stable condition of the critical care unit. I have not talked to my dad yet so I am not sure of more details. I was getting worried being 4 hours away, so I called the hospital. They just said she was stable, and that they had NOT been able to let my dad come in after the surgery
He must be having a hard time too. He is not from Toronto either, so he is away from home.
