prayers and pixie dust UPDATE pg 2

Pixie dust and prayers.....the little black rain cloud is back to my family again....

My Dad had a prostate biopsy on wednesday...everything was going go until saturday when he seemed to be leaking blood ( he is a heart patient and on blood thiner so it probably has to do with this and the biopsy)...and way he his bleeding fairly regularly through his bowels and is in CCU on Oxygen.....he blood counts we Ok (read this as not critical) last night so they didn't have to give him blood....but the Dr came into Scope him to try to find the bleeder.. I hope to find out this morning how that went...fingers crossed....

We went through a very similar situation with my step-Dad exactly 7 years ago (found out just before Thanksgiving that his bladder cancer had come back, and that treatment would be very complicated due to his heart disease. He did beat it, though!)

Thanks for all the good thoughts so far....

They did scope him last night without finding the bleeder....they told my sister this morning that they were going to go in and try to find out where the bleeding is coming from...hopefully we find it fast and things heal quickly...

My step mother is a wreck....and I think she is due for Chemo this week....Its been almost a year since she started her second bout with breast cancer(thought it has matastisied into her bones) These two have had MORE then there share of anguish and worry this past 12months....I keep hoping things will get better for them soon....
