Prayers and pixie dust needed please

I just found out today that a friend of mine that I went to high school with passed away this last Saturday. We didn't stay in touch very well so I didn't know that she getting worse so this is a total shock to me. I'm still not quite sure what happened, now seems like the wrong time to ask, but I do know that she was waiting on some sort of organ transplant.She was only 21. I can't imagine what her sister and brother and parents are going through right now, and right before Christmas. I'm a wreck, I can only imagine what they are like.

Please send your thoughts and prayers to her family. Christmas is a really hard time to lose someone (lost my grandpa two weeks before Xmas last year) so they will definitely need them.

This is so true!!!! You always hear about this about how we don't have enough organs and everything but I don't think anyone really realizes what a huge problem it is until something like this comes up. Had she had her transplant, she would still be here today, but she was forced to wait, and it was too long for her body. This just totally reaffirmed to me how glad I am that I am an organ donor.

Thank you for your good vibes. Christmas time is such a hard time to lose someone. I was hoping it might be somewhat "normal" this year after the loss of my grandpa last year right before Christmas, but it looks like it's going to be a rough Christmas yet again.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Someone I went to high school just passed away in November. She wasn't a close friend, though. I felt horrible because I saw her in October and didn't make a point to go and talk to her, and I feel horrible.

It's tough isn't it? I just think about all the time I had that I could have called her and been like hey how ya doin? And I always passed it up because I was "too busy" or whatever and now I'll never have the chance to talk to one of the sweetest people I ever knew.

It's just this weird feeling of guilt, that you never thought this person would dissappear and suddenly they're gone, and you're wishing you could go back and say I'm sorry I didn't call.

Life's lessons I guess, huh? Thanks so much for your support It means a lot to me that my dis friends care!!!!
