Prancer is sick

No, not the reindeer...

My pug, Prancer has borderline pneumonia. The poor thing started coughing yesterday and I had some leftover cough pills from Puggles' cold 2 weeks ago. We kept her with us last night and we hardly slept. We were up to comfort her every time she coughed.

My DH took her for 7:00 this morning to the vet. She had some fluid in her lungs and is now on 2 antibiotics and a cough med.

The poor little bundle of love that she is... we'll be back and forth to the house all day to check on her.

Hope little Prancer is feeling better soon. My one little chihuahua, Coco, had pneumonia a few years ago, responded to antibiotics fairly quickly, but still took several weeks until she was back to her old self. I know what you mean, I'd be up all night while she coughed, because she usually threw up a lot of mucous along with it. I hope she's feeling better soon!

I ran up to the house to check on her at lunch. She's one sick doggy. I cleaned up the vomit in her crate and she didn't want a carrot when she went back in. My poor sweetie. I just wish she could tell me what she needs for me to do.
