Practice For The "Ultimate Disney Trivia Tournament"

Very good. Her name was Sunflower and she was polishing the hooves of the other centaurettes when the movie was first released. When it was re-released in the 1960's they removed Sunflower by zooming in on the other centaurettes.

What about Chicken Little?

I said the same thing - this was a question pulled right from the Disney trivia game that is part of the Disney app. Apparently, Chicken Little is computer animated. I hope they don't split hairs like that at the trivia challenge!

What Disney movie was the first full-length animated feature to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture?

Beauty and the Beast is the only Disney animated best picture winner. Snow White received an honorary oscar (and seven mini oscars) for "significant screen innovation." Shirley Temple presented the oscars to Walt Disney.

No takers on that one?

Well, here's the answer. Junipers line the moat. These were placed there because swans won't eat them.

Next question please. Need lots of practice! :goodvibes :tink:

Talking about computer animation then - what was the first Disney feature film produced completely by computers?

Not sure how to word this one but here goes:

There are only two animated Disney films in which the main character(s) have both mother and father throughout the movie (for example, Belle has no mother, so Beauty and the Beast is out, Andy's father never makes an appearance in Toy Story, etc...) Name the two movies.

I'm going with 101 Dalmations and Lion King:cool2:

I am the worst at this reply within an hour thing!

The answer is:
Peter Pan
101 Dalmations

(Mufasa dies in The Lion King)

However, now that I'm thinking about it, Sleeping Beauty is one as well. I got this question from a trivia book - I should write them a strongly worded letter!

But anyways, it's surprising when you realize how many Disney movies have characters with only one parent (or there are no parents mentioned)

I agree with Sleeping Beauty - what about Mulan too?

And Toy Story wasn't a Disney film - it was released by them (and there was some consulting down too ) but made by Pixar before Pixar was owned by Disney - so I don't think that would pass muster with the judges if they're picky.
In which case it might be Dinosaur.

I took this question and answer from the Disney Trivia 2 game so I'm thinking it would be accepted.:)
