Practically Perfect in Every Way - UPDATE-3/1 -- LINK TO TRIP REPORT!!!!

Yeah, we'll see... :goodvibes I just can't seem to go anywhere else on vacation these days. I've been spoiled. :rotfl: But this will not be able to go on forever. I can definitely see 2013 being Disney-free. :sad2:

But, yes, I will try my best to keep you entertained. :lmao:

You could always use the excuse that I need another one of your TR's to entertain me until my 2013 vacation & therefore you simply MUST go to Disney! :lmao:

Hey girl, no chickening out of Disney vacations in 2013! I am counting on you during half term!
Three times a charm and I am hoping to convince you to cruise with us!

 Now, we have to convince Mark! :lmao: I don't know...I think the only way I can even justify a July trip to myself is if I swear not to go at all in 2013.

And..hey...we are GETTING SO CLOSE!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

Well...it was a very long, exhausting week. We had parent conferences on Wednesday, which always make for an especially long day and then we had a day and a half of professional development, which was good and very productive. And the strange warmth has been sticking around and keeping any possibility of snow far, far away. Which, I suppose is good...but I'd like a snow day...just one. ;)

And finally the weekend is here and I only have fifteen more teaching days until the trip! :woohoo: I've also been feeling (as I think we've all been) pretty frustrated with how slooooowly pages have been loading on here lately. :sad2: I have very little patience, apparently. :rotfl:

After rearranging everything, I am done with plans for February for now, so I'll have to start slowly revealing my April plans. :yay:

Can't wait to start hearing about your April plans! :goodvibes

And, yes, I'm about fed up with the lack of speed on the DIS these days. :headache:

The 10 day forecast doesn't look good for snow. This has been a mild winter. :sad2:

I cannot stand the DIS lately. That's why I haven't been around. It is horrible. :headache:

Feb, April, then when... I know you are going to use that AP! :lmao:

The DIS is always slow for me at work, but imagine how it is right now. I just open it and whatever else I am doing and go back and forth. But I usually only leave one reply because its so time consuming.

15 work days until your trip sounds pretty fantastic!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: We are down to three weeks!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I thought you were talking about MY week at school - it was long and exhausting as well - guess you can tell by how many updates I posted! :scared1: :rotfl2:

And I really agree with you on how slow pages are loading here lately. Hope they resolve it quickly! :goodvibes

Here's to Friday! :cool1:

I agree -- the DIS has been slow and finicky lately.

:confused3 Although, it seems better today. Who knows for how long, though.

Can't wait to start hearing about your April plans! :goodvibes

And, yes, I'm about fed up with the lack of speed on the DIS these days. :headache:

I have to really think about my plans. I think my friend doesn't know about Flower and Garden and I've planned in at least two full days at EPCOT, only to find out that she really just loves MK. :rotfl: I do, too, but with BTMRR down and no four year old to appease, I'd been hoping for more time at EPCOT and AK. Of course, I'm also totally OK with us not spending every moment together, too.

The 10 day forecast doesn't look good for snow. This has been a mild winter. :sad2:

Ah...weather. Its a funny thing, isn't it? While I'm glad it hasn't been like last January, which obviously was crazy, I wouldn't mind another storm or two. Plus, I actually find this weather a bit frustrating. Its not quite warm enough to go to the park or do much outside (other than for me not to wear a winter coat), but it sometimes feels like it is.

Yup. Me, too.

Feb, April, then when... I know you are going to use that AP! :lmao:

Well, right now...February, April and a quickie in October are definites. I've always wanted to check out Food and Wine and with the AP, I'm OK with only going for a quick long weekend trip, plus it seems like half the Dis is going to be there then, so... And then I asked my mom about it and she's on board for the weekend. Let's just say that a festival involving food AND wine is right up her alley. :lmao: It will be fun! I'm excited about that trip. Actually, I'm excited to get to take some different kinds of trips this year. I have to laugh when people ask me why an adult would want to go to Disney without kids, though. Now, I'm just waiting to see if we can possibly squeak out a trip in July. Might be possible if I make 2013 Disney-free. which I think I can handle. :lmao:

The DIS is always slow for me at work, but imagine how it is right now. I just open it and whatever else I am doing and go back and forth. But I usually only leave one reply because its so time consuming.

Yep...and fifteen school days is pretty great. I actually can't believe we're this close. :goodvibes

Can you believe we're THIS close???? As I look at, I have three more weekends, too. I know we don't leave until Monday, but that last weekend I'll be busy packing and cleaning and getting my nails done. :lmao:

Yay for your trip coming up so soon!!!! Ugh, the Dis has been SO SLOW for me too. (Actually, this morning it isn't terrible, but I don't want to jinx it!!! :rotfl:)

I'm getting REALLY excited. As of tomorrow...we'll be in the teens! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: And I found myself making a packing list this morning. And one more sign that we're getting close...Accuweather will have the start of our weather forecast posted by the weekend!! :yay:

:woohoo::woohoo:

Well...I now OFFICIALLY am I in possession of a certificate for an ANNUAL PASS!!! :woohoo: Can't wait to get the real thing in about three weeks! In fact...we're officially down to three weeks. I know my ticker says two weeks/five days, but I made it when I thought we were going down on Saturday and then I didn't want to change it and go back to the beginning again. :lmao:

Now...I have a dilemma. As you know, I went back and rearranged my plans, based on projections for crowd levels, as well as Disney's new park hours. :scared1: I scrapped dinner at Kona in favor of a late afternoon/early evening at EPCOT with dinner at Biergarten. I'm thinking that because of the monorail, we could still head back to the Poly for dinner, or even skip EPCOT, have an early-ish dinner at Kona and then head over to the MK and see what we can see.

Thoughts? :confused3 Biergarten is really fun, BUT the food isn't that great. I really want to try dinner at Kona. What to do...what to do...curious, what would YOU do?

Congrats on the AP!!!!!!:woohoo::yay::woohoo:

I have never been to Biergarten and I do want to try it someday... but I just saw some dinner pics from Kona and I want to eat there too. Tough decision. :surfweb:

I'd pick Kona over Beirgarten. I think the food is better. Plus who doesn't like a visit to the Poly! It's so pretty there.

Well, thanks for the help, Tim! :lmao: There's also the touring to consider. That first day is always tough, we'll be up really early, but we have to go to a park that day. I had originally planned on going to MK that afternoon and then eating at Kona, but Touring Plans has made it sound like going to MK that afternoon would be nearly suicidal. At the same time, if all we did was the Peoplemover and possibly get FPs for Buzz, I'd be OK with that, too. Oh...and Max would want to do the CoP! :lmao:

I vote for Kona.

But, I do have to admit that I don't really care for Biergarten.

To be honest Tina, I do NOT think that touring plans should be your only reason to plan a park.
(Last year they predicted lower crowds for the MK on our last February day and it was packed - we have found them to be wrong a lot of times, and I am still subscribed )
You know, I detest Biergarten - not really German at all, very americanized food and we have eaten at Kona several times. No longer a big fan of it either. The last two times we had very slow servers, they are running ALWAYS behind and the food can be so-so.
So my bet would be to eat somewhere totally different. But that is just me! ;)

Congrats on being at 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
