PPO Ressie from WIlderness Lodge

I read that boats from WL start running 30 min prior to park opening. What if we need to be there 1 hour PPO for BOG ressie? Do we have to take a bus? Or do the boats start earlier than 30 min prior? TIA

Hi this past summer we has two PPO at MK and took the bus both times. I can not comment on the boats as we only used them on regular park opening days.

There’s a boat that goes to the Contemporary starting at 6:30am. If you prefer a boat than you can take that one and then walk to MK. The boat also goes to Fort Wilderness.

I would take the bus.

We found this out the hard way in August when we went to take a boat to MK for a pre-park event. We were then pleasantly surprised that the CR/Ft. W boat was running, so we took a boat to CR and walked - it was awesome!

I’ll second the boat to CR for a PPO ADR. We did it last year trying to get to EMM at MK by accident (we didn’t realize a direct boat to MK was not running that early). Might not be the quickest way to go and it certainly involves more walking... but Bay Lake in the AM is beautiful and the walk through the CR is nice. I also enjoy the Contempo Grounds coffee shop in the CR lobby, so that’s not a bad place to stop for a morning caffeine fix.
